We have been fishing eye’s this past couple of week getting ready for a tour.We have been working plastics on the humps that come up out of the water. We have also been using live bait rigs with crawlers and minnows on the deeper humps and points down to 35 fow. There are walleye’s everywhere right now and they are biting.

September 15, 2009 by kellyblomeThe sturgeon are biting now ,from the dam at I Falls down to the littlefork river.We got 15 on Friday . This was the biggest a 65 incher that had to weigh close to 100 lbs.It was all I could do to lift it,the battle lasted around 25 minutes with her coming out of the water 2 times,when she dove deep, I absolutely could not control the fish , she rap around the anchor rope , we had to cut the rope.Once we got her in the net it took two of us to pull the sturgeon into the boat. We snapped a quick photo then released her ,the fish swam away unharmed.
